Copyright and Takedown
Last updated 2026-09-26
We respect the rights of creators. We link to and embed third-party material only through the owner's official channels, and credit it on our Credits and Licences page. We do not download, edit or re-upload third-party videos. This page also tells you how to report content that you believe infringes your rights, so we do not publish a separate infringement notice.
If you believe your rights are affected
Email [[copyright@synaptova.com]] with: 1. your name and contact details, and your relationship to the work; 2. the work you believe is affected, and where it appears on our site (the exact URL); 3. why you believe the use is not authorised; 4. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and your signature (typed is fine).
We acknowledge notices within 48 hours and, where the claim looks valid, aim to remove or disable the material within 36 hours of checking it. [[lawyer to confirm the legal framework and the timing for our situation: Copyright Act 1957, IT Act 2000]] If you are in the US and send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, use the same address. Counter-notice
If material you posted was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send the same details with an explanation. We may restore it unless the complainant starts legal proceedings.
