Certificate and IRI Score Policy
Last updated 2026-09-26
1. Certificates
You receive a certificate of completion when you finish what a certificate covers: for the full Programme, every lesson complete (labs verified, quizzes and exams passed at the required score, assignments submitted). Module certificates may be issued as modules are completed. The exact rules for each certificate are applied by the system from your recorded results. Each certificate has a unique ID.
2. The Industry Readiness Index (IRI)
The IRI score is Synaptova's own summary of what you have shown in the Programme, skill by skill. It is based on your verified labs, assessments and projects. It is calculated by the same method for every learner, using the recorded results.
The IRI is our method, not a standard set by any government, university or employer. A higher score means you did more of the Programme's tasks to the Programme's standard. It does not predict a job or a salary.
3. What a certificate is and is not
A certificate and an IRI score are records of learning inside Synaptova. They are not a degree, diploma or government-recognised qualification, they are not approved by UGC, AICTE or any university, and they do not guarantee employment. Employers make their own hiring decisions. Please do not describe them as anything more.
4. Verifying a certificate
Anyone with the certificate ID can check it on our website. Verification shows only the name on the certificate, its title, the IRI score where one is shown, and the issue date. It does not show your other data. If you delete your account, the certificate stops verifying (see Your data rights).
5. Integrity
We may withdraw a certificate if it was obtained by sharing or copying lab codes, submitting someone else's work, or other breaches of the Terms. We will tell you why and give you a chance to respond first.
6. Mistakes
If your name or score is wrong, tell [[support@synaptova.com]] and we will correct it.
