Communications and Marketing Consent
Last updated 2026-09-26
We send two kinds of message. They are handled differently.
1. Service messages
If you sign up or enrol, we send messages you need to use the Programme: your sign-in link, payment receipts and invoices, when your next module unlocks, changes to the Programme or to these policies, and replies to your requests. You cannot opt out of these while you have an account, but we keep them to what is necessary.
2. Promotional messages (offers, webinars, news)
- We send them only if you opt in. The marketing box on our forms is separate from the service box and starts unticked. We never make marketing a condition of using the Programme or getting your free lesson.
- We keep a record of when you opted in, what you saw and where.
- Unsubscribe or withdraw at any time, as easily as you joined:
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or the unsubscribe page. We stop within 10 business days at the latest, and aim to do it much sooner.
- SMS and WhatsApp: reply STOP.
- Calls: tell the caller, or email [[support@synaptova.com]]. We call for sales only between 09:00 and 21:00 IST.
- After you unsubscribe, we keep your address on a "do not contact" list so we can honour your choice.
- If we send SMS, we use registered sender IDs and message templates as telecom rules require, and we do not message numbers that have blocked promotional messages unless you have given explicit consent. [[confirm with provider when chosen]]
- We do not buy contact lists.
3. We do not use dark patterns
No pre-ticked consent boxes, no fake countdowns or "only a few seats" lines, and no guilt-trip wording on unsubscribe or decline buttons.
4. Referral and partner messages
People who recommend Synaptova for a reward must say so clearly. See the Referral Programme Terms.
5. Questions
